Students are learning there are multiple ways to divide a given number.

For example students were asked to show me how many different ways 12 could be divided.

Students manipulated unifix cubes to show that 12 could be divisible into the following groups:-

4 groups of 3 cubes
3 groups of 4 cubes
6 groups of 2 cubes
2 groups of 6 cubes and
1 group of 12 cubes
