Brain Power......!!!

The Middle Syndicate is focusing on the workings of the brain in Term 3. In our room of awesome learners we have discovered the scientific names for the different parts of the brain and the jobs those particular parts do.

In week 2 we had the pleasure of meeting two neuroscientists and experienced what a 'human brain' (plasticised) actually felt like and looked like.

We had the opportunity to view a cats brain, a monkeys brain and a rats brain.

Ask your child which parts of the brain they remember!

PE - Rugby

Students were trying their skills and techniques at Rugby. Some great dodging and strategies were shown. Collaboration and team spirit was evident!
