Baa Baa Black Sheep.....

The nursery rhyme still lives on....

About us:

We are a Year 4/5 class at Sunnybrae Normal School in Auckland, New Zealand. Our teacher's name is Ms Snellaert. Together we will be using this blog to share our learning journey for 2017. We love getting comments so let us know what you think.

Expectations:

Homework

Homework is given to the children every Monday and is to be returned the following Monday morning. This will ensure they have time in the weekend as students become busy during the week.

Reading

It is important for children to read every night and if possible please ask them questions pertaining to the book, characters or what the story or facts were about.

Maths

Quick fire of basic facts knowledge is also important and will help your child to consolidate their knowledge and improve instant recall.

Class Timetable:

Library

Library day is Friday. Please ensure your child packs their library book/s the night before either for renewal or to get another book out.

Swimming

Our swimming days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please ensure your child remembers to pack their togs for these days.
